What is it?

CrossFit is a precise combination of exercise and nutrition that has been proven to increase fitness and health for people of all ages and abilities. CrossFit is designed to be constantly varied, meaning everyday is different so you never get bored. All workouts are based on the core movements of life, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, rowing and more. They can be adjusted in weight, intensity, and movement to meet the needs and fitness levels of any individual.

Is it for me?

Yes. Everyone can do CrossFit regardless of age, injuries and current fitness levels. No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start CrossFit. Every workout is infinitely scalable, and designed to help you succeed, improve your fitness, and move you toward your goals.

What should I expect?

A CrossFit class is a one-hour group session led by a certified coach that starts with a whiteboard brief to talk through the workout, the movements within it, the intended stimulus and ideas for scaling. Don’t worry if you don’t understand the movements listed on the board. The coach will walk you through the movements to ensure your first class will focus on learning the movement technique, while working through a strength portion and into the workout that meets your current fitness level and ability.
